My name is Cristi and I live in Bucharest, Romania. I’m currently a freelance web developer (slash wannabe designer, slash wannabe entrepreneur), with more than 5 7 years of experience, working mainly with PHP & MySQL. I also enjoy working on frontend stuff (HTML/CSS/javascript) from time to time. Took contact with the symfony framework in 2008, then decided to give Zend Framework a try, quickly becoming a fan of the latter. In 2007 I’ve started integrating & customizing Magento Commerce on various online shops, being probably the first one to launch an ecommerce site powered by Magento in Romania – you can see more on the Portfolio page.

What to expect from this site/blog?

I don’t want to set any limits to the type of articles on this blog, however they should all be in the sphere of building web applications & site – so it could be a design related article or a highly technical & specialized programming article. I would really like to write about php&mysql tips&tricks, javascript ideas, css how-to’s, programming using design patterns, scalable web architectures, while sharing my experience and thoughts – but who can really say what the future holds. So, on with the writing & reading …
